About Healing Bridges
Healing Bridges is a faith based non-profit founded by Zoe Godinez and Yuridia Carrillo, two high school seniors passionate about serving and empowering women—especially those who have endured domestic violence and/or trafficking or come from minority communities in the Oklahoma City metro area, by supporting local organizations with volunteer time and resources. We also partner with a small rehabilitation center in Mexico called “Jesus Is My Pastor,” which supports young girls, women, and mothers recovering from addiction and domestic violence.
Many of these women are seeking healing, support, and a new beginning after experiencing unimaginable hardships. The center in Mexico, directed by Pastor Juan Rangel and Ruth Rangel, has been faithfully operated through their own retirement savings, personally covering every expense. Currently, they are providing housing, hospitality, and transportation to help those in recovery—opening their own home during the ongoing construction of a new facility.
With God’s guidance, they are now working to finish construction of the men's wing and open a new women’s wing, which will include dorms, restrooms, a kitchen, and a separate children’s daycare—creating a safe and nurturing space for mothers and their children to heal together.
Through Healing Bridges, we strive to provide hygiene boxes, clothing, journals, and Bibles—essentials that meet physical needs while nurturing spiritual growth. Our mission also extends to teaching Oklahoma students the importance of compassion and hospitality by partnering with local high schools, clubs, and sports teams to host fundraising events and community drives.
We’re calling on the OKC–Edmond community to join us in collecting clothing and hygiene kits that will be packed and shipped with care. Your financial donations will directly support food, ongoing construction, and essential resources that restore dignity and hope.
Every contribution helps us build a bridge of healing and faith for those seeking new beginnings
